Sitting amongst the terrace houses, the light and airy 50 seater restaurant has an outside area with tables overlooking the garden. There is a bar area if you just want to have a drink and some house made salami, whilst watching the passing traffic.
Sit down to enjoy either the a la carte menu, which is the more traditional style of Italian cooking that Chef Domenico De Marco has devised, or if you wanted to really experience the new modern take on Italian food, then prepare yourself for a 5 or 8 course tasting menu. Domenico has created the tasting menu to be a harmonious balance of flavour and texture to not only excite but to challenge the way you think about what can be done to italian cooking techniques.
The small but well thought out wine list concentrates on Italian and Australian producers. BYO for wine is also available (corkage applies).
Every Sunday there is an Italian style lunch ($45pp), which is all you can eat. Every week something different is on offer, from house made breads, salami, pastas, whole roasted pigs, and, if you have any room left, desserts.
Domenico's cooking philosophy is to make as much as possible in house and to show that there is a way to have a fusion of Italian and other cuisines.
